Have you ever noticed the addition of Google + profile pictures in Google’s search results? Displaying your profile picture in-line with Google search results can lead to a higher click-through rate. People like to know who the content, what wrote the content, what their ‘authority’ is, and if the content is good.

Author Rank is also relatively new. It’s not too late to be early – NOW is the time to make sure your Google Authorship is setup while Google search results aren’t yet over-run with author profile pictures.
