Ian Mandover, President of Ouchies, tells the story of searching for a cool, stylish alternative to the traditional, boring beige bandage for his five year old daughters boo-boo’s and being disappointed in the lack of originality he found among bandages available in drugstores. He decided to create a cool alternative to the boring bandage, and Ouchies was born.
To market Ouchies’ array of unique bandages online, Mandover partnered with Trighton to develop an ecommerce website that would appeal to bandage connoisseurs of all ages. Trighton’s expert designers captured the creative flare and diversity of the Ouchies product line and developed a website that makes shopping easy and fun.
In addition to Ouchies ongoing People Against Boring Bandages (P.A.B.B.) campaign, the company has launched other successful campaigns with Trighton’s help. For example, Trighton’s strategists worked with Ouchies and D.A.R.E. to launch a social media campaign to involve children in designing their own bandages in support of anti-bullying.
