Meet The Experts
Trighton’s Creative Director, Dave Brinkhus, has always been fascinated with building things and understanding what makes them work. From his childhood days of building with Lego blocks to his present day designing and coding with HTML & PHP as a web designer, Dave has been driven by this curiosity and creativity. His passion for web design and development has, in fact, been shaped by these forces and led him to believe you can only do great work if you love what you do.
Having grown up in the Philadelphia area, the work ethic seen in the Rocky movies has been engrained in Dave’s mind since he was a young child. Today, Dave still insists on pushing himself further all the time and never becoming complacent. He learns something new every day, keeping in mind that the toughest days of troubleshooting or conceptualizing become lessons learned in the pursuit of mastering his craft. Dave also knows design is never perfect, but can always be perfected through a constant refinement of what is already known applied to what can be imagined. Through constant refinement and methodical processes that allow him to see how all the pieces of a project fit together, Dave has gained a reputation for always delivering beyond expectations.
At West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Web Design degree, Dave developed a respect for art in all forms and a passion to apply design skills to his technical background. This background laid the foundation for his challenging, rewarding journey of designing and building websites, beginning with freelancing and developing his technique in website creation during the Great Recession and continuing through present day as Creative Director for Trighton Interactive.
Dave advanced his website creation technique and career working as Senior Creative Manager for Elite SEM, a Search Engine Marketing Agency based in New York City, where he built and managed client websites, as well as all creative materials for the company. After he built a new website for the company, their blog quickly gained traction and was shortlisted by the 2013 U.S. Search Awards as one of the most authoritative blogs in the industry.
In 2012, Dave joined the Trighton team as Creative Director, assuming responsibility for conceptualizing and coding custom website designs and, for many clients, also developing their branding. His accomplishments include designing, developing and launching a new website for Newlin Law, the second biggest personal injury firm in the U.S., with billions of dollars recovered, as well as receiving numerous Best-in-Class awards for websites he has designed and developed for Trighton’s clients.
In his present position, Dave collaborates with Trighton’s marketing and content creation experts to provide fully integrated online marketing services for clients. He manages projects, including hosting, security and support of website additions to provide the optimal client experience; uses strategic thinking to solve complex problems; serves as the point of contact for clients; and spearheads initiatives to enhance Trighton’s top quality service and innovative marketing ideas.
Dave is grateful for the opportunity to work with the Trighton team and their clients. He learns something new every day, because every day and every client presents new challenges. He particularly enjoys partnering with some of the biggest and most successful clients in their field and playing an active role in their continued growth and success through knowing them well and providing real solutions to their challenges. He also enjoys collaborating with the other Trighton team members, whose expertise he respects and trusts, and working in an environment that supports individual creativity and efficiency. He is thankful there is no in-fighting or politics with co-workers at Trighton and feels that is a huge advantage for clients, since he and his colleagues always advocate honestly and openly for what is best for their clients.
Dave believes that integrity, hard work and sacrifice lead to success, and each experience bears a lesson to be learned. With this in mind, he wants to continue his personal and professional growth and pursuit of mastering his craft at Trighton. Fortunately, he continues to feel passion and immense satisfaction when transforming a client’s brand and online presence, much like the magic of home renovation shows during the “big reveal,” and thankfully, there’s a symbiotic relationship between this magic, his taking his skills to the next level and clients’ law firms achieving their next level of success.
